While most of the ship was still asleep, we were invited — as part of The Retreat — to a private sunrise sail-in to Dawes Glacier, from a helipad that’s normally off-limits. No big crowd. No announcements. Just a tray of mimosas, warm drinks, friendly officers, and front-row views of ancient ice.
