London’s Best Parks on a Scorching Summer Day 🚴‍♂️☀️

Join me on a summer bike ride through London’s most famous parks on one of the hottest days of the year! Whether you’re visiting London, planning a trip, or just curious about life in the capital during a heatwave, this ride shows you where locals and tourists go to escape the heat and enjoy the outdoors.

We kick off with a quick flyby of Finsbury Park, before heading to the stunning Primrose Hill, famous for its breathtaking views over the London skyline. Then it’s on to Regent’s Park, packed with sports activities and its incredible rose garden — home to over 12,000 roses of 400 varieties.

Along the way, I share some fun stories of celebrity sightings before heading to the world-famous Hyde Park. Unfortunately, parts of the park were closed for a big summer event, but we still get to enjoy the Serpentine Boating Lake and peaceful green spaces.

Next, we cross into Kensington Gardens to admire the Albert Memorial opposite the iconic Royal Albert Hall. We also take a unique stop outside the Iranian Embassy, where I stumbled upon a 24-hour protest for democracy and sovereignty in Iran — a striking contrast to life in London. I can only guess they are hoping to prevent the SAS from revisiting them like they did in the well documented 1980 Embassy Siege, Operation Nimrod.

After navigating some classic London traffic, we pass the luxury world of One Hyde Park and its Rolex store, before heading to Buckingham Palace, Green Park, and St James’s Park — the perfect spot to relax in a deck chair by the lake. Sadly, no pelicans this time! We wrap up with a glimpse of Big Ben and the chaos of Westminster traffic.
