This video covers almost all of the Important aspects of Triangles that could be asked in the actual GRE Exam. Anyone aiming for a 170 in GRE Quantitative Reasoning should watch this video.

Triangle is a polygon with 3 sides, 3 angles, and 3 vertices. Sum of angles in a polygon = (𝑛 −2)∗180, where n is the number of sides of the polygon. The Sum of angles in a triangle is (𝑛 −2)∗180 = (3 −2)∗180 = (180°). The area of the triangle is the total region that is enclosed by three sides of the triangle. The formula for the area of the triangle = ((𝑏𝑎𝑠𝑒 ∗ℎ𝑒𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡))/2, where the base could be any side while height is altitude with respect to that side.

There are 3 types of triangles with respect to angles and 3 types of triangles with respect to sides.

By Angles:
Right Angle Triangle
Acute Angle Triangle
Obtuse Angle Triangle

By Sides:
Equilateral Triangle
Isosceles Triangle
Scalene Triangle
