നടൻ ദിലീപ് എട്ടാംപ്രതിയായ കേസിൽ എറണാകുളം പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ സെഷൻസ് കോടതി ജഡ്ജ് ഹണി എം.വർഗീസാണ് വിധി പറയുന്നത്. കൂട്ടബലാൽസംഗം, ക്രിമിനൽ ഗൂഡാലോചന, തെളിവുനശിപ്പിക്കലടക്കം പരമാവധി ജീവപര്യന്തം തടവ് ശിക്ഷ ലഭിക്കാവുന്ന കുറ്റങ്ങളാണ് ദിലീപ് ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള പ്രതികൾക്കെതിരെ ചുമത്തിയിരുന്നത്. നടിയെ ലൈംഗികമായി ആക്രമിച്ച് മൊബൈലിൽ ദൃശ്യങ്ങൾ പകർത്തിയ പൾസർ സുനിയാണ് കേസിലെ ഒന്നാംപ്രതി. 2017 ഫെബ്രുവരി പതിനേഴിനാണ് നടി കൊച്ചിയിൽ ആക്രമിക്കപ്പെട്ടത്. തൃശൂരിൽ നിന്നും കൊച്ചിയിലേക്ക് പോവുകയായിരുന്ന നടിയെ അങ്കമാലി അത്താണിക്കു സമീപം കാർ തടഞ്ഞു അക്രമിക്കുകയും വിഡിയോ പകർത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു എന്നാണ് കേസ്. | In the case where actor Dileep is the eighth accused, the verdict is being delivered by Ernakulam Principal Sessions Court Judge Honey M. Varghese. The charges against Dileep and the other accused—punishable by a maximum sentence of life imprisonment—included gang rape, criminal conspiracy, and destruction of evidence. Pulsar Suni, who sexually assaulted the actress and recorded the visuals on his mobile phone, is the first accused in the case. The actress was attacked on February 17, 2017. According to the case, the actress, who was traveling from Thrissur to Kochi, was intercepted near Athani in Angamaly, assaulted, and filmed.
