Peter Tyroller, Robert Bosch GmbH - 2012 SMMT International Automotive Summit

Now in its fourth year, the SMMT International Automotive Summit will attract up to 250 delegates from the breadth of the automotive industry -- vehicle manufacturers represented at the Summit in 2011 included Bentley, BMW, Ford, Honda, Jaguar Land Rover, McLaren, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Peugeot-Citroën, Renault, Suzuki, Tata Motors, Toyota and Volkswagen.

The day will attract many senior delegates. Attendees at the Summit in 2011 included eight European or national CEOs / MDs of car companies as well as a number of directors of marketing, corporate and public affairs, engineering, assembly, sales, planning and operations.

Peter Tyroller has been a member of the Board of Management of Robert Bosch GmbH since 2006. He has corporate responsibility for Marketing and Sales as well as Original Equipment Sales. He also has divisional responsibility for the Automotive Aftermarket division.

He completed his engineering studies at the University of Applied Sciences in Ulm in 1984, followed by a second course of studies in industrial engineering.

Peter began his professional career with Alfred Teves GmbH in Frankfurt in 1985. Since January 2010, he has been President of CLEPA, the European association of automotive suppliers.
