Circa 1914 Coinola orchestrion entertained for many years at the dance pavilion at Hess Lake, Newago County, Michigan. After a couple of owners, it was donated to the museum in 1954. The orchestrion had the appearance of a model C2 but with the instrumentation of a model X. The original bass drum and xylophone were replaced in a restoration done in the 1970's. Here it is after a fresh restoration performing "Brown Eyes, Why Are You Blue?" from 1925.
