On Sunday 4th May 2025, the new Shannon class lifeboat RNLB Roy Barker VI arrived in Troon.
Here we see the new lifeboat arriving, in formation with the old Trent class lifeboat, Troon's D-class lifeboat as well as guest lifeboats including Girvan's Shannon class and the Coastguard helicopter from Prestwick. Also seen in the video are the ferries Glen Sannox and Albert, which are running the service between Troon and Brodick, as well as a number of small yachts and fishing boats.
