When I first booted up Forza Motorsport 7 on Xbox One S in 2017, I already knew it looked good—maybe even great. it wasn’t until I made the jump to PC years later that I realized just how far ahead FM7 really was in terms of graphics. It wasn’t just about higher resolution or smoother framerates; it was about how alive everything felt when it wasn’t limited by console hardware.

On PC, Forza Motorsport 7 truly shines. The textures pop with ridiculous clarity, from the stitching on the seat to the grain in the carbon fiber panels. The reflections on the cars are sharper, more dynamic, and the environments—the tracks, the skies, the weather—feel almost real. The HDR implementation on a proper display is next-level, with deep blacks and blinding sunlight transitions that actually made me squint at times. It felt like I wasn’t just playing a racing sim anymore—I was stepping into a fully rendered world where every frame looked like a promotional screenshot.

What really stuck with me was how fluid the experience became. On console, FM7 already ran well, but on PC with the settings cranked up, the responsiveness matched the visuals. Every turn, every drift, every moment of acceleration felt more immersive when paired with such visual fidelity. It was clear that Turn 10 had built the game with scalability in mind, and when you give it room to breathe on a powerful PC, it rewards you with what still stands as the visual peak of the Forza Motorsport series.
