Spent a powerful day in November 2024 visiting San Giovanni Rotondo, the home of St. Padre Pio. We arrived around midnight, got some rest, and then walked to the church early in the cold morning. We attended Mass, visited the crypt, and spent time praying in front of his relics. Explored the small museum, picked up some prayer cards, had a light meal, and left around 11pm to Rome. A quiet, moving pilgrimage to honor a beloved saint.
