Paulding County, OH Siren Ambiance (ft. Charloe Deathbolt) | 7/12/23

On our way to Auglaize Township, I decided to hide an audio recorder at a cemetery just under half a mile away from Charloe's 1003 to hear what it would sound like from a distance. I find that low pitched or sick Thunderbolts sound pretty creepy from a distance, and Charloe is certainly no exception. I'm honestly impressed that it is still going, although it is slowly but surely getting worse every time it gets documented.
After Charloe's 1003 shuts off, you can faintly hear at least 1 T-128 and some of Paulding's Thunderbolt's winding down. If you listen real hard with headphones around the 2:24 mark, you can even make out the low-pitched 1000 at the Paulding Township building, which is over 10.5 miles away! A few seconds later, the wind-down from that one can be heard, along with possibly another dual-tone 'bolt. I must say, I am extremely impressed at how far those 'bolts can carry, because I was expecting to hear no more than about 2 or 3 other sirens from this location. Enjoy!
