How I turned filament waste into a beautiful lamp

I 3D printed a lamp that reuses filament waste in a completely new way.
Every maker knows the problem. Those leftover bits of filament that are too small for a new print but too much to throw away. In this project, I designed a lampshade with vertical grooves that let you reuse old filament pieces as part of the design itself. The result is a clean, minimal pendant lamp that turns 3D printing waste into light.
This project combines 3D printing, design, and sustainability - showing how small ideas can transform everyday materials into something beautiful.
Printed on a standard 0.4 mm nozzle using PLA, but it also works great with PETG for extra heat resistance.
