Welcome to my 642nd fingerstyle solo jazz guitar arrangement video on YouTube, "The Cat" written and performed by Lalo Schifrin for the movie Once A Thief (1965) and also popularized by Jimmy Smith. This arrangement upload was a spontaneous decision as yesterday I stumbled on this theme online after not having heard it for probably 40+ years and I got excited! In truth, I should probably have spent more time with it and develop the solo section in particular but like a child I was too impatient. I'm 100% sure I'll play it better at the gig tonight...
