What is happening to physical media these days??

Ever had your favorite show suddenly removed from the streaming service you pay monthly for... or had to wait five or more hours to download that exciting new game that just got released, only for you to have to pay more to unlock all of the content? Sadly this is exactly the future that big companies are forcing upon us: where we have to constantly pay up to be able to access content online because we no longer actually own anything.

In this video, I discuss my personal frustrations with the current state of online tv and gaming media services and why I think it’s increasingly more vital than ever to make sure physical media remains available and accessible for everyone, especially in this unstable streaming-dominated era.
