Winter Olympics Video Games SUCK ~~~ Episode 46

No hockey was harmed in the making of today’s video, because for some insane reason the developers of these games declined to include the best Winter Olympics sport on their cartridges.

Instead we get a bunch of minigames (or at least that’s how they seem) that require a lot of finesse and skill to even play in the first place.

We’ll show you Nagano Winter Olympics ‘98 on the N64 first, and play through the Championship mode. Go ahead and yell at Paul as he fails and falls his way through downhill snowboarding, halfpipe, skiing, bobsledding, and more.

Then Ramsey tries out a Game Boy Advance version of Salt Lake 2002, a game with such bad reviews that we weren’t sure what to expect. Well, spoiler alert, it’s more minigames. Except for curling, which for some reason ends up being something like 90% of your play time if you go through all the sports. Interesting choice Ubisoft.

So curl up on the couch, grab your favorite snack, and get mad at the screen… just like when the actual Winter Olympics are on! Do all Winter Olympics games suck?
