Pergoveris - how to apply

The medication is available in three versions: 300 IU, 450 IU, 900 IU
The application method is the same for all.
What You’ll Need:
Prepared pen (to be kept in the fridge)
Disinfectant squares

Before You Begin:
1. Wash your hands thoroughly.
2. Take the pen out of its box.
3. Attach the needle (included in the package) to the pen by gently twisting it into place.
4. Remove the two protective caps.
5. Prime the pen by pressing the arrow button, a small drop of liquid should appear.
6. Set the dose prescribed by your doctor using the dial on the pen.

Application:
• Choose a clean injection site, ideally around the navel (about 3 cm away).
• Clean the area with a disinfectant square.
• Pinch the skin gently to create a fold.
• Insert the needle at a 90° angle and press the plunger until the full dose is administered.
• Release the skin fold and wait a few seconds before removing the needle.

After the injection:
• Carefully remove the needle by twisting and dispose of it in a sharps container.
• If the pen is empty, discard it in the appropriate waste bin. If not, place it back in the fridge.
• Disinfect the injection site once more.
