Blidinje Nature Park is one of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s most beautiful and diverse natural areas, located in the Dinaric Alps between the cities of Mostar and Tomislavgrad. Covering around 364 square kilometers, it is home to Blidinje Lake, vast forests, mountain peaks, and rich cultural heritage.
At its heart lies Blidinje Lake, a glacial lake at 1,185 meters, whose water levels vary with the seasons and often freeze in winter. Čvrsnica Mountain, home to Hajdučka Vrata, a natural rock arch at 2,000 meters, offers some of the best panoramic views, while Vran Mountain is a rugged landscape perfect for off-road adventures. The park is rich in biodiversity, hosting brown bears, wolves, chamois, wild horses, and the endemic Munika pine.
