[KIDS TALK] Learn About The Guru's Shastar!

Check out this fun and interactive workshop, in which Bhai Maan Singh Ji shows various Shastar! Shastar referring to weapon play a crucial in Sikh tradition as Sikhs are known to be a martial race. In fact, writings of the 10th Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji refer to Shastar as being our ‘Peer’ – quite literally meaning our Guru.

This workshop introduces children to the Martial side of Sikhi, naming various Shastar and telling them the function in which these Shastar would have been used in times of battle.
