The ricefields and waterfalls (Bugtong Bato Falls) in Antique, Philippines. We explore more! Looks like Banaue or Batanes, but it’s a totally different world to be honest :) The ricefields are smaller, but also way less visited! And of course there is the famous Kawa hot bath. Come along!

--GETTING THERE—

Going to Bugtong Bato falls and ricefields in Antique you’ll go to Tibiao first. From here you can easily take a motorcycle into the mountains. They are waiting when you come out of the bus. They’ll know where to take you, and you can start your hike! After registering you’ll get an official guide. So no worries about getting lost.

-WHAT TO SEE IN ANTIQUE TIBIAO-

There are a few great attractions

► Kawa Hot Bath
► Bugtong bato Falls
► the Ricefields

All are accessible in one trip.

-WHERE TO SLEEP IN TIBIAO-

We slept on the main land in Culasi in Solis Suites. A nice place, with sweet people running it. They were still building it at the time we stayed there. You can also stay in Tibiao, but since we were flying back from Kalibo next morning, it made more sense to be up north.

-WHERE TO EAT IN TIBIAO-

Oef! We ate in a little place along the road, in the middle of the Kawa hot bath and the register place of the waterfalls. Food was good! Canteen style. But what the name was again…? Damn, I must remember stuff like this!

You can easily bring lunch from Culasi as well btw.
