Stephen Huey Watches the CD18 Forum at Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church

I'm a candidate for the 18th Congressional District of Texas in the heart of Houston. There was a CD18 candidate forum at Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church on Thursday, August 28, 2025. Last year more candidates were invited onto the stage but this year they decided to have a smaller number, and since I was not invited to the stage, I decided to join it virtually. After visiting with people at the VIP reception, I left and went nearby to a friend's office at the University of Houston where I could watch the livestream and provide my own commentary in real-time. Because FOX 26 Houston had trouble with their YouTube channel, I missed the beginning.
