Latest video! Capt Elliot from North Carolina USA came to Rompin to catch a sailfish on fly. Working for Shimano, Elliot is also an avid fly fisher and what an epic weekend it was. From day one we had multiple chances and raised some really hot fish - one hung around behind the boat for 5 minutes presenting multiple chances! Fly fishing for billfish is never the easiest and anglers often take a while to 'warm up' and get the hang of things, which can be rather confusing as so many things can happen very suddenly and in a very short span of time.
