TIYENDE (Live)..."Let us go"

A typical traditional song that encourages a spirit of missionary zeal.

Tiyende maiko onse kulalika mau a Mulungu kuti anthu akapulumuke! ("Let us go to all nations, preaching the word of God for people's Salvation")

The song was recorded live with no editions whatsoever to depict the natural traditional aura it has.

Special tribute to the late Archbishop T. G. Ziyaye. He loved the song with passion. A true definition of missionary zeal he was! Tribute as well to Catechist Joseph Dambuleni of Our Lady of Victory Madisi Parish, Archdiocese of Lilongwe, Malawi. He would move the entire congregation in singing the song with passion and zeal. A rare gem he was for the Catholic Church in Madisi, Dowa (Malawi) and the Church at large. By the grace of God, the late Archbishop Ziyaye celebrated the funeral Mass of the late Catechist Joseph Dambuleni and he would not help but to ask the congregation to sing the song "Tiyende" in his memory. May their souls continue to rest in peace!
