Copenhagen Pride rounded off Pride week with the big Closing Concert on Saturday 16 August, with Faroese artist Sissal was among the performers. Sissal, whose real name is Jóhanna Niclasen, won Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2025 with the song “Hallucination”, co-written with Chris Chordz, Line Spangsberg, Linnéa Deb, Malthe Johansen, Marcus Winther-John, Melanie Wehbe.
Following her victory, she promoted the track at Eurovision pre-parties in Stockholm, Oslo, Amsterdam and London, and went on to represent Denmark at Eurovision 2025, where she secured the country's first final qualification since 2019.
During the concert, she surprised the audience by bringing last year’s Danish Eurovision artist SABA on stage for a special duet of SABA’s 2024 entry “Sand”.
