Create a new movement type by copying movement type 201 and Test the same in SAP MM ECC6/S4 Hana

Testing the newly created movement type
Exercise
Create a new movement type Z01 by copying movement type 201. Make the Goods recipient field a required entry field in the new movement type. Test the newly created movement type by posting a goods issue against a cost center.
Choose SAP Reference IMG. Materials Management → Inventory Management and Physical Inventory → Movement Types → Copy, Change Movement Types.

Select Movement Type check box and Continue (Enter).
Input Movement Type 201 to Z01, and t Continue (Enter).
Select entry 201 and choose, with the quick info text Copy As...
Enter Movement type Z01 and confirm your entries with Enter.
Choose Copy All.
Choose Enter until all entries have been copied.
You have to save the movement type before you can make changes to the new movement type Z01. After you have copied the movement type, choose Save.
Select the newly created movement type and open the folder Field selection (Enjoy).
For the field Goods Recipient field (field name WEMPF), change it to Required entry.
Choose Save.

Test the movement type. Enter a goods issue of 5 pieces of R-10001 from plant 9110, storage location 1000, for cost center 1501 and goods recipient.
We observe that the field Goods recipient field is a required entry field.
