During the First World War Centenary we paused and reflected to remember the many thousands of Commonwealth casualties who are commemorated on Commonwealth War Graves Commission memorials.
Among the thousands who made the ultimate sacrifice are those awarded the Victoria Cross. Here are the stories of some of those men who all have those immortal VC initials by their name.
