I was asked if I used the Sony ECM-909A microphone. I wish I had that mic instead , and had the dare to use it. My mantra at that time was "spy-like mic", cause it was illegal to record shows. I went for the smallest mic the dealer had in his shop on hollywood Blvd, a totally consumer levaliere mic, actual mic showed here: https://www.icloud.com/sharedalbum/#B.... The tape Cassette was digitized "no EQ whatsoever" in ´95, but probably with some noise reduction - I don't remember. In 2020 I ripped the CD and applyed some bass enhancement , compressor, and limiter. I think the good fidelity originates from the fact that it was a small room, I was sitting 4-6 feets from the musicians. Feel free to ask more :)
