San Juan Island Travel Guide Welcome to the Pacific Northwest and the most beautiful and unique Island in Washington. In this video I will show you Top Things To Do and Eat here in the San Juan Islands. I will take you around the islands of San Juan and show you everything there is to do see and eat while visiting.

Day 1.

-We are gonna start off with breakfast at the San Juan Island Farmers Market open SAT 930-1 or another great choice is the Salty Fox.
-Whale Watching ( Western Prince) There are many companies to choose from I can not recommend Western Prince enough the whole experience was incredible. It a zodiak style boat which means less people and able to travel further.

After Whale Watching we are gonna grab some food at Spring Street Deli or Market Chef. Both have incredible Sandwiches made to order you cant go wrong with either one

No Travel Guide is complete without a visit to Roche Harbor. This is the most beautiful place in San Juan Islands. There is a ton of stuff to do here from boating, kayaking, fishing, there are shops and restaurants its a great place to spend the afternoon.
-
Sculpture Park is located in Roche Harbor and has alot of unique art

-Mcmillin Memorial Mausoleum is a step into history and admire the beautiful architecture. The Mausoleum was a tribute to the legacy of the Roche Harbor Founders.

English Camp stands as testament to a pivotal moment in history. It played a crucial role in teh boundary dispute between the united states and Great Britian.

Lime Kiln Point State Park This is one of the top things to do in San Juan Islands and the best place in the united states to see orcas from shore. We came here 3 times at all different hours and never had any luck seeing orcas but the sunsets here are magical

Day 2-
Cattle Point Lighthouse- We woke up at 5 am and arrived at cattle point lighthouse for sunrise it was absolutely spectacular . This is one of the best places to see bald eagles as well . The landscape is beautiful and there is so much wildlife in the are. You cant come to San Juan Islands without visiting Cattle Point Ranch

One of the best places to eat in San Juan Islands for breakfast is Salty Fox The breakfast burrito was amazing it also has great views of Friday Harbor.

After breakfast we headed to American Camp where you can explore the historical significance of where the British and American Pig war came to a peaceful resolution. Hike down to Grandmothers Cove or walk by the lodging of the American Soldiers

Next stop was 4th of july beach. This is my favorite beach on San Juan Islands . It is so peaceful and beautiful . The water glistens and you can have the beach to yourself . This is at the top of the list of What to do in san juan islands.

South Beach is just a short drive from 4th of july Beach . This is the longest stretch of beach in the san juan islands Spending a day at south beach is one of the top things to do in San Juan Islands

After spending a little time on the beach we are heading to the Pelindaba Lavender Farm . July - August is peak lavender season and when you walk through lavender fields you can lose yourself in the lavender fragrance . They also have a gift shop full of lavender products dont forget to stop by and try there lavender ice cream

We are gonna head back to Friday harbor for lunch. There is not a whole lot of places to eat outside friday harbor and roche harbor. One of the Best things to do in San Juan Islands is to get some fresh fish. We decided to eat at the bait shop. There fish and chips was delicious crispy and flaky in the inside highly recommend them

Day 3 -
We started the day off at San Juan Bakery . This is one of the best places to eat in San juan Islands. They are closed on the weekend but as soon as they open on Monday The line is out the door. The Almond croissant is one of the best things to eat in San Juan Islands. We came here twice in the same day at 11am they start serving Pizza and that is a must try.

Cattle Point Lighthouse we came here again in hopes of seeing bald eagles and as soon as we showed up there was 2 sitting on top of the lighthouse.

-Kyrstal Acres Alpaca Farm this is another must visit if you are animal lover they are so cute and 5 dollars to feed them what could be better.

-Then we spend the afternoon in friday harbor walking around enjoying the sighs and sounds. Friday harbor is the soul of the san juan islands. The top Things to DO and EAt starts here .
