1. Hoysaleshwara Temple (Halebidu):

It features exquisite soapstone carvings depicting scenes from the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Bhagavad Gita.
Despite being attacked by invaders, the temple still stands as a symbol of Hoysala grandeur.

🚗 By Car: (~220 km, 4.5 - 5 hours)
Start from Bangalore via NH75 towards Hassan (180 km).
From Hassan, take the Hassan - Belur Road (35 km) to Halebidu.
Belur is just 16 km from Halebidu, making it easy to explore both on the same trip.
🚌 By Bus:
KSRTC & private buses operate from Bangalore to Hassan.
From Hassan, take a local bus or taxi to Halebidu & Belur.
🚆 By Train:
Nearest railway station: Hassan Junction (32 km from Halebidu).
Regular trains run from Bangalore to Hassan, followed by a cab or bus ride.
