Meet Craig Elgin aka Tourette's cop. He’s a police officer. His tics are constant. In this deeply personal conversation, along with Kelsey Christensen, we discuss medication, & his life with TS. There’s so much to learn & feel (empathy/compassion) from this chat. After meeting, Craig, I introduced him to Dr. Joohi Jimenez Shahed at Mount Sinai in New York City. She’s a neurologist and tic disorder specialists. She saw him. He started medication. It’s worked to lessen his tics. There have been side effects which led to a change in medication. Craig will continue treatment with Dr. Shahed. This conversation begins with Craig talking about members of his family who also have TS.
