Til Ki Chutney – Step by Step
Step 1
Grind and sauté the following:
Oil – 1 tbsp
Green Chillies – 200g
Garlic Cloves – 1 bulb
Jeera – 2 tsp
Sauté for 4 to 5 minutes on medium to low flame and keep aside.
Step 2
Sauté the following:
Oil – 2 tsp
Tomatoes – 250g (chopped)
Cook for 4 to 5 minutes on medium to low flame.
Add:
Coriander – 20g
Sauté for 1 to 2 minutes on low flame and keep aside.
Step 3
Take:
Roasted Til – 100g
Boiled Tamarind – 100g
Extract Tamarind water and pulp.
Step 4
Grind the sautéed green chilli & garlic mixture moderately.
Step 5
Add:
Tomatoes
Coriander leaves
Salt
Grind and make a smooth paste.
Step 6
Add:
Tamarind water – 3 tbsp
Tamarind pulp
Grind again.
Chutney is ready.
Step 7 – Bagar / Tempering
Heat:
Oil – 200g
Add:
Jeera – 1 tsp
Curry Leaves – few
Dry Red Chillies – 5
Garlic paste – 1 tsp
Coriander leaves – few
Add chutney into the bagar.
Mix well.
Final Step
Dish out.
