ABOUT THIS EPISODE: Environmental artist Bryant Holsenbeck makes beautiful creations using materials that many people think of as trash. It could be one of her amazing art installations - made from things like plastic bottles and caps - that take on majestic scales and fill entire rooms. Or perhaps it's one of her wonderful animals - made from scrap fabric or discarded fishing line - that seem almost lifelike.

In addition to her stunning visual art, she is a prolific writer and the author of a book - "The Last Straw" - based on a year she spent living without single-use plastic.
