A major corruption story has come forward against the PMLN Government, following a recently surfaced IMF report on corruption in Pakistan. Former PMLN leader and once a close ally of Nawaz Sharif, Zubair Ahmad, held a powerful press conference addressing the issue.
During the press conference, Zubair Ahmad openly challenged the PMLN government and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, demanding that they respond to the IMF report. He stated that if the report was false, the government should have already issued a reply.
Zubair Ahmad added that this is a “fake government with no public mandate”, claiming that they came into power through Form-47. He said the public has no trust in this setup.
He further alleged that Imran Khan has been jailed in fake cases, and that the government has committed injustice against PTI workers across the country.
