In this video, we show you how to install Dynacorn's front floor cross brace and seat platform on 1983–1993 Mustangs, using our 1991 Mustang Notchback as an example. This crucial component runs from rocker to rocker across the front floor pan and over the transmission tunnel, providing the mounting point for the bucket seats.
Replacement requires welding and is best suited for experienced installers, as the process involves removing most of the interior and demands careful, precise work to ensure proper fitment and safety. Replacing the cross brace is the best option if your factory seat platform is damaged.
