A good quality leather rifle sling is frequently left low on the list of priorities and that is too bad.
The Pattern 1907 style of sling has been successfully used by almost every competitive shooter, is very popular with hunters and comes highly recommended to new shooters as well.
In this video we explore a few different slings and evaluate their characteristics.
I am particularly fond of Ron Brown custom 1907 slings which have been manufactured in the USA for almost 20 years. They use fine leather from Hermann Oak and use military spec hardware. https://www.servicerifleslings.com/
