I've worked quite a bit to get close to this technique using a Monome Teletype, Attowatt i2c2midi module and the 1010 blackbox.
PLEASE NOTE: Yes, my attic is super dusty haha. This is a short example filmed on my phone. A downside of the blackbox are the pops and clicks, zero crossings are still not smoothed out and I'm hoping that is fixed in a future update. But i have to commend 1010 music for the amazing new firmware updates that have made this possible.
This system allows me to write a simple script of note duration and tape speed (MIDI notes) to create a pendulum loop. Here I illustrate it using simple sine tones but the possibilities are endless. I will keep improving the teletype scene and might make it more complicated. I could add MIDI CC modulation, use the granular engine on the blackbox etc.
