On July 22, 2024, at approximately 6:35 PM, Arkansas State Trooper James Booth observed two stunt motorcyclists riding recklessly near mile marker 1 on 67 Southbound. The riders were performing wheelies, disregarding traffic laws, and endangering other road users.

Trooper Booth followed the riders onto I-30 Westbound, activating his emergency lights near Broadway and North Olive Street. One rider initially slowed but then fled, leading to a high-speed pursuit through downtown Little Rock, reaching speeds over 80 MPH and running red lights. Despite Trooper Booth’s efforts to maintain visual contact, the pursuit was terminated near West Roosevelt for safety reasons.
