The 1984 Budweiser Trans-Am Championship was the nineteenth running of the Sports Car Club of America's premier series and this was round 10 of 16 that year.
Tom Gloy won this as the second of three, first places finishes for the year in his Mercury Capri. His average speed was 119.2974. Greg Pickett came second and Eppie Wietzes came third.
Gloy fiished first overall with 225 points for the year. Second to him was Greg Pickett with 188 points.
