gentle ambient sounds performed live, in the evening.

hello :) this week has largely been spent creating and exploring. now that many of my live performances are done for the year, i've spend more and more time experimenting with my creative processes. new ways of wiring all the gear together and looking for new sounds. i've also been drawing, which is far outside of my creative medium but has been really nice nonetheless. a nice little "toe-dip" into opening other aspects of making. overall very well :)

this week i wanted to experiment with a unique framed that showed off what i'm doing a bit more. i've gotten a lot of feedback about doing a "how i make these sounds" type video, and that's something i'd really like to accomplish before the end of the year, but i figured for now i can try to record at an angle that's a little more inviting to the creative process i'm engaging in. one other thing I'd like to mention, is that i was very happy with the combo of synths used here. the cz3000 is a casio digital synth that has a really warm character that isn't quite as bass-y as analog. i feel it pairs very nicely with the warmth of the ms-20 analog synth. anywho! thank you so much for taking time to listen to this video and read these words. have a beautiful day :)
