In this short video I go over 3 more useful pieces of equipment for repairing CB radios, my budget doesn't stretch to a Marconi test set so instead I have a cheap Chinese signal generator and a cheap Chinese frequency counter with the correct amount of digits for UK CB radios.
For an oscilloscope I have a pocket sized one from Amazon (the seller was NooElec) which was supplied as a kit and uses 9 volts DC so could run from a PP3 but I run mine from a suitable power supply, this is useful and adequate to set the FM discriminator or detector, I do have a Philips oscilloscope as well however I find it a bit flickery and uncomfortable to use for long periods as it is based on a CRT given its age), to set the detector you just need to connect the oscilloscope across the speaker terminals
The radio in the demonstration was a TTI TCB-550, an older version not the later 'N' version, the scope was across an external speaker not the internal one as I removed that from this radio to use the space for a fan also since removed
