In this interview, renowned Punjabi actor and director Amitoj Mann makes several claims regarding the Punjab government and the former Chief Minister. Amitoj Mann alleges that a helipad has been constructed in Mohali, near the area opposite Phase-8 (Puddha), which, according to him, was used by former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. He further claims that approximately 500 Punjab Police personnel were deployed in the area for security arrangements.
Amitoj Mann also states that special rooms were prepared within the PUDA premises for Arvind Kejriwal and alleges that crores of rupees of public funds were spent on these arrangements. According to him, the Mohali Deputy Commissioner (DC) had provided clarifications related to these developments.
Through this interview, Amitoj Mann raises questions about the need for constructing a helipad in Mohali, especially when a helipad already exists near the Punjab Chief Minister’s residence in Chandigarh and the international airport is located nearby. He questions the rationale behind creating additional infrastructure under such circumstances.
