Canon EOS C50 | Cinema for Creators & Filmmakers

Super excited to finally share my hands-on review of the new Canon EOS C50. With 7K RAW Open Gate recording and Canon continuing to refine its Cinema line, the C50 feels like a serious step forward for creators and filmmakers looking for a true hybrid cinema camera.

In this video, I put the C50 through real-world shooting scenarios—testing 7K Open Gate RAW, along with a full anamorphic setup using the SIRUI IronStar lenses. From rigging and workflow to image character and post-production flexibility, this is an honest look at where the C50 fits in today’s filmmaking landscape.
