"MAD" Magazine saw it's debut in September 1952 as a comic book style satire of anything and everything. Over the decades a number of records were released as inserts. There were also standard issue vinyl albums and singles, however the treasures were in the cardboard (and later flexidisc) inserts of selected magazine issues of "MAD". You tore at the perforated line and placed the insert on your audiophile stereo sound system to hear the latest MAD-ness from these jokers in audio form.
The first of these releases was in 1959, with the second installment of "The Worst From MAD". Cut out the cardboard, play it on yer record player.
