This is how you calibrate a Maytag commercial washer. MVWP586GW0.
Make sure the wash basket is empty. Rotate dial to 12:00 (mixed). Wait 4-6 seconds then turn dial left, right, right, left, right. This should be done within 6 seconds. You should see all the lights come on except "lock". Then toggle dial (L/R, L/R, L/R...) until only the "rinse" light comes on. Press the start button and let it finish the cycle. Calibration is done.
Calibration should be done when repairs are done, if you move the washer, if you change electrical outlet, and when you first intstall the washer. It does NOT tell you this in the owners manual.
