In this video four parents of individuals with Fragile X are interviewed about their experiences of receiving a diagnosis of Fragile X Syndrome. Professor Andrew Stanfield (Patrick Wild Centre) and Dr Margaretha Van Mourik (Clinical Geneticist) provide expert input.
This video was funded by Awards for All, Big Lottery Scotland, as part of the project "Educate to Empower". Through this project the Fragile X Society and the Patrick Wild Centre trained professionals across Scotland about Fragile X Syndrome and produced a resource pack for newly diagnosed families.
