Denver Airport Train (Terminal to Concourse C)

This time I rode the train it seemed very different. Many people have said the trains run like they're brand new but I can tell they've aged over 21 years. First I noticed the platform alignment was not very good and the train didn't correct it until it opened both sets of doors. The LED displays showing boarding info have burnt out and now they only have a few left on each platform and rather than replacing them, the airport covered them with gray tape. In the trains you can notice the ride quality is getting bumpier and rougher. In the northbound tunnel 98% of the blue lights above the fan things are now burnt out (at least since the last time I was there). On the southbound platform many of the colored lights in that tunnel are now completely burned out as well. The final thing I noticed was on the concourse platforms, often there would be no arrival messages or departure warnings that are supposed to play when the trains arrive and depart. Or the announcements would play after the train has arrived or long after it departed. So even though most people say it's like new, I say it needs some work. But don't get me wrong, I still love the Denver Airport Train and it's still my favorite airport train.
