Social emotional learning is critical, yet often challenging for individuals with ASD due to deficits in social communication and interactions across age ranges. As an individual begins their transition into adulthood, social emotional learning provides an important platform for learning daily living skills, promoting independence and securing and maintaining employment. This webinar will define social emotional learning and its core competencies and present an overview of tools you can use to apply evidence-based strategies to promote social emotional learning in individuals with ASD. This webinar is geared towards peers, family members, and communication partners that would like to learn practical tools to teach social emotional learning in everyday conversation and social interactions with young adults with ASD.
