Rainy Overnight Camping at Doheny State Beach! Solo Female Minivan with Dog!

Join me as I embark on a solo minivan camping adventure at Doheny State Beach, a beautiful coastal campground in Southern California. I spent the night in my no-build Toyota Sienna (2006) minivan camper, enjoying the fresh ocean air with my senior Shih Tzu by my side.

My campsite was a tiny wedge, squeezed into a small area with 3 other sites. The day brought loud neighbors, but by 10 PM, the campground quieted down, allowing me to enjoy a peaceful night’s rest. The unexpected overnight rain added a cozy touch to the experience, making my solo female camping trip even more memorable. The ocean views were amazing. I hope to return to this campground soon!
