Fargesia robusta 'Campbell' is one of the most beautiful and usefull Fargesias. It's very hardy with an upright growth up to 5 m high. It's fairly compact. The white culmsheaths on the young shoots contrast wonderfully with the shiny, deep green culms. In he summer It drops these culmsheaths.
Fargesia robusta ‘Campbell is very useful for fencing, but also very beautiful as a solitary plant. It's tolerates bright sun, is quite hardy and is evergreen (the leaves don't curl up in winter).
For me it's a great plant to create height in our small garden. It also acts as a wind breaker.
