Games Without Frontiers (Peter Gabriel) - Erik Wøllo Remix

Remix by Erik Wøllo in 2010, using all the original multi-track sound sources. As well as adding new elements and sounds. Wøllo says: "I tried to keep the same vibe as the original, but wanted to make it sounding more up to date. Added a lot of new tracks, like the drum loops and various sound effects. The sequencer pattern that runs in the background during the whole tune, is directly inspired from "San Jacinto", another masterpiece of Peter Gabriel".

Games Without Frontiers was released on Peter Gabriel`s third album (Melt, 1980). Melt was one of Q Magazine's top 100 Greatest British Albums Produced by Steve Lillywhite. Features Jerry Marotta and Phil Collins drumming, the guitar of Robert Fripp, David Rhodes, Paul Weller and XTC's Dave Gregory, with vocals from Peter and Kate Bush. The album produced the 1980 hit single "Games Without Frontiers", and the anthemic "Biko".

Peter Gabriel has earned a worldwide reputation for his innovative work as a musician, writer and video maker. When at school he co-founded the group Genesis, which he left in 1975. His albums, live performance and videos since then have won him a succession of awards.
