In this video I attempt to drive the Ami from Cornwall to Torquay to meet with other Ami owners. When we started the weather was ok but quickly turned to torrential rain. I had planned for one charge on route and when I got to Totnes with the battery light on and 4 miles range.
The Type 2 charger that was in the Morrisons car park had been replaced with MFG chargers. The type 2 charge I found was a 7kw output but it appeared it was putting out less than that according to the guy on the other port.
We met with Richard a Ami owner from Torquay who drive in his ICE car to meet us, we failed the challenge big time
