2006 BMW r1200rt fuel pump controller comparison comparing an eBay $63 unit to a BMW motorad $320 factory fuel pump controller. so far over 1,200, mi and no issues. would I substitute the fuel pump controller from an off-brand counterfeit over a factory unit? no way. however, for around town it'll do just fine, but before the next road trip I'll install or reinstall the factory unit. the counterfeit unit looks better. the appearance it looks more consistent and the finish more even. The factory unit has inconsistencies in its finish compared to the counterfeit which looks more refined and the BMW logo imprint is far more legible on the counterfeit than the factory genuine unit to correct in inaccuracy. in the description in the video the counterfeit unit or I should say the copy does include screws and a seal. I should clarify the distinction between copy and counterfeit. counterfeit would be having the BMW logo stamps on and on genuine component. so actually this is a counterfeit because it has BMW stamped right on the surface. so to be clear, this is a counterfeit.
